Welcome Reception - Saturday May 14, 2011
The trade show opens with a fun, ice-breaking meet and greet reception held on the 43rd floor of the Sheraton Centre Hotel for exhibitors and delegates alike. This is truly a memorable way to celebrate the start of the tradeshow and a wonderful chance to meet with friends and colleagues over hors d'oeuvres and cocktails.

The 43rd floor of the Sheraton Centre Hotel offers breathtaking views of the Toronto skyline. The 2010 welcome reception was the highlight of discussions the next day on the tradeshow floor.

Golf Tournament
The Music Industries Association of Canada and the Coalition for Music Education in Canada invite you to tee off on Saturday, May 14th for the 15th Annual Charity Golf Tournament. Tickets price includes green fees, a cart, an open range with unlimited balls, lunch, prizes, and more! Proceeds go to the CMEC in support of young music makers across the nation. Music Café
The Café will feature rising stars from the Canadian music scene, performing live on the Café Stage. The Café Stage will feature acoustic performances in an intimate setting where guests can have a drink from the bar and enjoy a delicious lunch or light snack.

The Café is a great venue to enjoy some exciting music. Take a break from the Trade Show floor and meet with friends, old and new. The Café is located under the expansive windows of the Galleria and will be bathed by Spring sunshine and affords a view south to Lake Ontario.

MIAC Excellence Awards
The Music Industries Association of Canada (MIAC) is delighted to announce this exciting, new annual award, "The MIAC Excellence Awards (MEA)", to celebrate institutional excellence, individual achievements, and contributions to the Canadian music products market and music making.

The Awards Presentation will take place on Sunday, May 15, 2011 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel, Civic Ballroom, 123 Queen Street West. Click here for more information on the MEA Program

Canadian Music Trade Late Night Party
The CMT Late Night Party will take place on May 15th at 9:30pm. The CMT Party is a great opportunity for dealers and suppliers to unwind in a casual atmosphere after attending the Cocktail Party or after Sunday night dinner. The party will feature live entertainment, cash bar and late-night snacks.

This year we'll be once again be enjoying Grace O'Malley's Pub, 24 Duncan St., Toronto - convenient to the Direct Energy Centre, The Sheraton Centre and downtown area hotels.
