Updates on MIAC 2010 and the PAL Show's Move to the Direct Energy Centre

Formerly known as the Automotive Building, the recently renovated and rebranded Allstream Centre is at the pinnacle of exhibition and conferencing technology. Self proclaimed "The Greenest Conference Centre in Canada", one of the building's strongest assets is the fact that is consumes 100% Green power. Receiving electricity exclusively from clean and renewable energy sources including wind, solar, hydro, and biomass power means that the facility creates little to no carbon footprint.

The Allstream Centre also sets a strong example demonstrating that its lean, green form doesn't undermine its function. The facility is brimming with cutting edge technology and this is where MIAC and PAL exhibitors will reap the benefits of the Centre's drastic transformation. Amenities include meeting rooms equipped with a full complement of Audio Visual accoutrements. To give you a sense of how intuitive this "Crestron controlled" system really is, the sound reinforcement will automatically bridge to adjoining meetings rooms when the dividing walls are opened. Telephony and communications aren't exactly barebones either, as meetings, seminars, and conferences in the Allstream Centre are treated to endless connectivity including PBX, VOIP, ISDN, Fast Ethernet, Wireless 802.11 (a,b,g,n compliant), and both light and dark fibre.

The Allstream Centre is located just across the road from the equally handsome Direct Energy Centre and connected via an underground walkway, thereby eliminating the need to venture out into the elements to enjoy its magnificence.
